Family Living Room

Braybrooke

This living room redesign was created for my client who loves colour and pattern and wanted a space that could comfortably support everyday family life, as a dining and living space. With a new sofa already on order, the brief was to work with existing furniture and much-loved pieces, bringing a stronger sense of cohesion to the room.

The design started with a favourite throw, which helped shape the colour palette and overall direction. From there, I developed the concept, refined the layout to improve flow and usability, and layered in pattern and detail to bring everything together. Hand-painted striped walls were scaled to suit the space, while bespoke roman blinds replaced dark sill-length curtains, adding colour and character. The finished room is bright, fun and reflective of my client and her family.

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Erica's help was absolutely invaluable when I was looking at how to redecorate my kitchen and living room. She made sense of my chaotic ideas, pulled together the most beautiful mood boards and then sourced the most perfect items to bring it all together. My house is full of colour now and I couldn't love it more! I also couldn't have done it or been brave enough to do it without Erica!”
