My client wanted to transform her dark, uninspiring living room into a relaxing and sophisticated space. As the room is north-facing and naturally cool in tone, I chose a warm neutral palette to create a soft, inviting atmosphere. The beautiful original fireplace was retained as a focal point, and the existing sofas were updated with newly stained dark wooden legs to complement it. Bespoke cushions, full-length interlined curtains in a gentle stripe, and carefully selected artwork, lighting, and accessories complete the transformation—bringing warmth, balance, and elegance to this Edwardian home.
